Benefits and Issues: ➊ In addition to personally participating in battle, financially supporting a mujahid or serving and looking after the family of a mujahid is also equal to participating in jihad.
➋ If a person is unable to participate in battle, he must certainly take part in one of the other two actions; otherwise, he will be considered guilty of abandoning jihad.
➌ The punishment for some sins is meted out in this very world.

Narrated Abu Umamah: The Prophet ﷺ said: He who does not join the warlike expedition (jihad), or equip, or looks well after a warrior's family when he is away, will be smitten by Allah with a sudden calamity. Yazid ibn Abdu Rabbihi said in his tradition: 'before the Day of Resurrection".

Benefits and Issues: The defeat faced by the Muslim Ummah, without doubt, is the result of turning away from jihad and cowardice in the face of the disbelievers. And the various calamities from Allah, the Mighty and Majestic, are also evidence of His reckoning.
