Benefits and Issues:
(1)
On the Day of Resurrection, some people will be granted a place in the shade of the Throne (‘Arsh).
By Allah’s shade, what is meant is the shade of His Throne.
(2)
To be granted a place in the shade of the Throne is a matter of great honor, because at that time there will be no other shade, while the heat of the sun will be extremely intense, causing people to be submerged in their own sweat according to their sins.
(3)
In another hadith, some other deeds are also mentioned whose reward is the shade of the Throne.
The Prophetic statement is:
“Allah, the Exalted, will grant shade to seven types of people on the Day when there will be no shade except His shade:
A just ruler, a youth who grew up in the worship of his Lord, a man whose heart is attached to the mosques, two men who love each other for the sake of Allah—meeting and parting upon that, a man whom a beautiful and high-status woman invites (to sin) but he says, ‘I fear Allah,’ a man who gives charity so secretly that his left hand does not know what his right hand has given, and a man who remembers Allah in solitude and his eyes overflow with tears.” (Sahih al-Bukhari, al-Adhan, Chapter: Whoever sits in the mosque waiting for the prayer and the virtue of mosques, Hadith: 660; and Sahih Muslim, al-Zakah, Chapter: The virtue of concealing charity, Hadith: 1031)
(4)
Forgiving a debt is a deed of great reward; if that is not possible, then granting respite is at least easy.
