➊ When a person intends to do a righteous deed, he receives success (tawfiq) and help from Allah. Similarly, if a judge (qadi) wishes to make a correct judgment, Allah, exalted is He, guides him and makes it easy for him to reach the truth. Even if, despite good intention, he makes a mistake, that mistake is forgiven.
➋ When a judge’s intention is to act unjustly, he is deprived of Allah’s support and assistance. As a result, Satan gets an opportunity to deceive him, and the judge, by making an incorrect judgment, commits oppression.
➌ Every good deed is accomplished by Allah’s success (tawfiq) and grace, therefore, one should continue to seek Allah’s help in fulfilling obligatory duties.
