Maulana Ataullah Sajid
Benefits and Issues: ➊ This means that it is a lawful (halal) animal. Its meat and milk are beneficial, therefore one should keep goats and make use of their meat and milk.
➋ It can also mean that it is among those animals which are slaughtered in the way of Allah and are sacrificed on the occasion of Eid, through which Paradise is attained.
➌ In the chain of narration of this hadith, there is a narrator, “Zarbi bin Abdullah,” who is weak, due to which our esteemed researcher has declared it weak in terms of its chain, whereas Shaykh al-Albani rahimahullah has declared it authentic in al-Sahihah.
