´It was narrated from Abu Sa'eed that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:` "When you have paid in advance for something, do not exchange it for something else." (Da'if)Another chain with similar wording.

Narrated Abu Saeed al-Khudri: The Prophet ﷺ said: If anyone pays in advance he must not transfer it to someone else before he receives it.

Benefits and Issues: Benefit: This narration is weak in its chain of transmission. In such a case, if the seller is genuinely unable to provide the goods at the appointed time, then he should return the amount received. Or they should come to a suitable reconciliation in an appropriate manner.
