Hadith 2189
حَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْفُضَيْلِ ، عَنْ لَيْثٍ ، عَنْ عَطَاءٍ ، عَنْ عَتَّابِ بْنِ أَسِيدٍ ، قَالَ : " لَمَّا بَعَثَهُ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِلَى مَكَّةَ نَهَاهُ عَنْ شِفِّ مَا لَمْ يُضْمَنْ " .
´It was narrated from 'Ata that 'Attab bin Asid said that :` when the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) sent him to Makkah, he forbade him from profiting off of what he did not possess.
