Hadith 2182

حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبْدَةَ ، وَأَحْمَدُ بْنُ الْمِقْدَامِ ، قَالَا : حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ ، عَنْ جَمِيلِ بْنِ مُرَّةَ ، عَنْ أَبِي الْوَضِيءِ ، عَنْ أَبِي بَرْزَةَ الْأَسْلَمِيِّ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " الْبَيِّعَانِ بِالْخِيَارِ مَا لَمْ يَتَفَرَّقَا " .
´It was narrated from Abu Barzah Al-Aslami that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:` ”The two parties to a transaction have the choice (of annulling it) so long as they have not yet parted."

Benefit:
Abu Barzah radi Allahu anhu considered the lengthy day and night sitting of both parties involved in the transaction as a single session (majlis) and annulled the sale.
Even though, during this period, after the transaction, both of them must have discussed countless other matters.
But Abu Barzah radi Allahu anhu regarded their remaining in the same place as constituting a single session (majlis).
