1؎ : It is understood from this that the profession of carpentry is lawful (halal), and the Messengers (anbiya) have adopted this profession. Similarly, every craft and profession in which the livelihood is lawful (halal) is a good occupation, and it is within our ability and strength to adopt it and to advance in this field.
Explanation & Benefits
Maulana Ataullah Sajid
Benefits and Issues: ➊ Carpentry is a good profession through which a believer can earn lawful sustenance by the labor of his own hands. Prophet Nuh (alayhis salam) also, by the command of Allah, built a wooden ark. (: Surah Hud, 11:37, 38)
➋ No lawful profession should be considered insignificant. The truly contemptible and disgraceful act is for a person to earn a livelihood through unlawful means, or to adopt a profession that is prohibited according to the Shari‘ah.

Abu Hurairah (RA) reported Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) as saying: O Muslim women, none of you should consider even a sheep's trotter too insignificant to give to her neighbour.
Shaykh Maulana Abdul Aziz Alvi
Hadith Commentary:Benefits and Issues:(1) One should not consider even a small and insignificant gift from one another as contemptible, because the purpose is to express heartfelt love, affection, and connection—that even at the time of a small thing, one was remembered, so how could one be overlooked in the case of something greater.
(2) According to the Kufan grammarians, in "nisā’ al-muslimāt," "nisā’" is the described (mawsuf) and "al-muslimāt" is the attribute (sifah), and it is permissible to annex (idafah) the described to its attribute.
According to the Basran grammarians, here the described (mawsuf) is omitted, i.e.: (nisā’ al-nafs al-muslimāt or ījā’āt al-muslimāt).
