Hadith Takhrij«
Benefits and Issues: ➊ It is permissible, when necessary, to swear an oath in order to assure the addressee of one’s statement or for emphasis.
➋ Just as the name of Allah is invoked for an oath, likewise, the attributes of Allah Most High may also be mentioned.
➌ The meaning of an oath is that Allah is a witness to the fact that such-and-such matter is as stated. Now, if this statement is false, then invoking the name of Allah at this point is a great act of disrespect, because Allah Most High cannot be made a witness to a lie.
