Benefits and Issues:
➊ The issues related to the private parts are often felt to be embarrassing to mention, but it is also necessary to explain them. However, the choice of words should be appropriate, and such matters should not be discussed in front of underage children. It is better that in lessons and speeches, these issues are mentioned allusively, and in private gatherings, they may be clarified in an appropriate manner.
➋ The anus is a place of impurity; therefore, a believer avoids it. In any case, this place was not created for this purpose, and medically, there are many harms associated with it. One of these harms has recently appeared in the form of the disease "AIDS." The lawful place (qubul) also becomes prohibited during the days of impurity (menstruation), so how can the place (anus) which is inherently for impurity ever be lawful?
➌ Sexual relations between a man and a man, or a woman and a woman, is a very grave sin. Because of the sin of sodomy, Allah ta‘ala caused stones to rain down upon the entire nation of Prophet Lut and overturned their towns, thereby destroying them.
