حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عُمَرَ الضَّرِيرُ ، وَهَنَّادُ بْنُ السَّرِيِّ ، قَالَا : حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ ، عَنْ عَاصِمِ بْنِ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَامِرِ بْنِ رَبِيعَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ " أَنَّ رَجُلًا مِنْ بَنِي فَزَارَةَ تَزَوَّجَ عَلَى نَعْلَيْنِ ، فَأَجَازَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نِكَاحَهُ " .
´It was narrated from Abdullah bin Amir bin Rabiah from his father, that:` A man among Banu Fazarah got married for a pair of sandals, and the Prophet permitted his marriage.

Tirmidhi — Hadith 1113
´Abdullah bin Amr bin Rabi'ah narrated from his father:` "A woman from Banu Fazarah was married for (the dowry of) two sandals. So the Messenger of Allah said to her: 'Do you approve of (exchanging) yourself and your wealth for two sandals?' She said: 'Yes.'" He said: "So he permitted it."

Bulugh al-Maram — Hadith 887
Narrated 'Abdullah bin 'Aamir bin Rabi'ah on the authority of his father: The Prophet (ﷺ) gave his approval of the marriage of a woman for two sandals as a dowry. [at-Tirmidhi reported it and graded it Sahih (authentic), but he was opposed in that (grading of the Hadith)].

«أخرجه الترمذي، النكاح، باب ما جاء في مهور النساء، حديث:1113.* فيه عاصم بن عبيدالله وهو ضعيف.»©Explanation:
© Hadith Narrator:
«حضرت عبداللہ بن عامر بن ربیعہ رضی اللہ عنہ » This is Abu Imran Abdullah bin Amir bin Rabi’ah Al-Adawi Al-Anazi.
There is much disagreement regarding his lineage.
At the time of the Prophet’s (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) passing, his age was 4 or 5 years.
He passed away in 85 Hijri, and according to another opinion, in 90 Hijri.
