´It was narrated that:` Thawban said: “When the Verse concerning silver and gold was revealed, they said: 'What kind of wealth should we acquire?' Umar said: 'I will tell you about that.' So he rode on his camel and caught up with the Prophet, and I followed him. He said: 'O Messenger of Allah what kind of wealth should we acquire?' He said: 'Let one of you acquire a thankful heart, a tongue that remembers Allah and a believing wife who will help him with regard to the Hereafter.' ”
1؎: A woman's assistance in matters of the Hereafter is that, due to her, a man is protected from sins and from casting unlawful glances, and she takes care of all the household tasks, thereby giving the man the opportunity to engage in worship. If there were no woman and he had to do these tasks himself, it would be difficult for him to find time for worship. Some women themselves are pious and religious; through the effect of their company, the man also becomes ascetic and devoted to worship. Some women wake their husbands for the tahajjud (late night) prayer.

Benefits and Issues:
➊ The remembrance of Allah and gratitude to Allah are very great blessings. Whoever is granted the ability to perform these deeds has attained a tremendous wealth.
➋ The ruling revealed regarding gold and silver is as follows:
“And those who hoard gold and silver and do not spend it in the way of Allah, give them glad tidings of a painful punishment.” (At-Tawbah, 9:34)
➌ Wealth is a good thing, but even more important are a person’s moral qualities. In particular, patience (sabr) and gratitude (shukr) hold great significance.
➍ A woman who has faith in her heart will herself keep the Hereafter in view and will help her husband to walk on the path of righteousness. Therefore, such a righteous woman is a great blessing from Allah. A Muslim man should value such a woman.

´Narrated Thawban:` "When (the following) was revealed: And those who hoard up gold and silver... (9:34)" He said: "We were with the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) during one of his journeys, so some of his Companions said: (This) has been revealed about gold and silver, if we knew which wealth was better then we would use it. So he (ﷺ) said: 'The most virtuous of it is a remembering tongue, a grateful heart, and a believing wife that helps him with his faith.'"
