´Abdullah bin Unais said that he and Umar bin Khattab were speaking about Sadaqah one day, and:` Umar bin Khattab said: “Did you not hear the Messenger of Allah when he mentioned Ghulul with the Sadaqah (and said): 'Whoever steals a camel or a sheep from it, he will be brought carrying it on the Day of Resurrection?' ” Abdullah bin Unais said: “Yes.”

Benefits and Issues:
(1)
Breach of trust in collective affairs is a very grave crime.
Those individuals who are entrusted with the financial matters of a mosque, madrasa, province, or country should be conscious of this responsibility.
Breach of trust regarding zakat may also mean that the owner of wealth does not disclose his entire wealth, or similarly, gives less than the obligatory amount of zakat.
Even a single goat or camel withheld in this manner will be a cause of severe punishment on the Day of Resurrection.
It may also mean that the one who collects zakat does not deposit the entire amount into the public treasury (bayt al-mal), or spends it for his own needs rather than on legitimate expenditures; such a person will also receive a severe punishment for this crime.
