´It was narrated that Abu Sa'eed said:` "We said: 'O Messenger of Allah! Will we see our Lord?' He said: 'Do you crowd one another to see the sun at mid-day when there are no clouds?' We said: 'No.' He said: 'Do you crowd one another to see the moon on the night when it is full and there are no clouds?' We said: 'No.' He said: 'You will not crowd one another to see Him, just as you do not crowd to see these two things.'"

Hadith Commentary:
From this hadith, form (sura) is affirmed for the Lord.
If there were no form, then how would His vision be possible?
The reality of the form is known only to Allah Himself.
The Ahl al-Hadith do not interpret (make ta’wil of) the attributes of the Creator.
This has been the way of the pious predecessors (salaf salih).
In the narration of Muslim, it is stated as follows:
At first, the Muslims will not recognize their Lord, because He will manifest in a different form, and when He says, “I am your Lord,” the Muslims will say, “We seek refuge with Allah from you.” Then the Lord will appear in His original form, the form in which the Muslims had already seen Him.
At that time, all the Muslims will fall into prostration and say, “You are indeed our Lord.”

Hadith Commentary:
1.
In one narration, it is mentioned that Allah, the Exalted, will say: "Do you have any sign by which you will recognize your Lord?" They will reply, "The shin is a sign." Allah, the Exalted, will uncover His shin, and every believer will fall in prostration, while those who used to prostrate in the world for show and fame will remain behind. When they attempt to prostrate, their backs will become like a single plank. Then a bridge will be placed over Hell.
After that, Allah, the Exalted, will say to the saved people: "Go, and whoever you find in whose heart there is even the weight of a mustard seed of faith, bring him out of Hell." Thus, they will bring out whomever they recognize. The narrator of the hadith, Hazrat Abu Sa'id, says: "If you do not believe my words, then recite the statement of Allah, the Exalted:
﴿إِنَّ اللَّهَ لَا يَظْلِمُ مِثْقَالَ ذَرَّةٍ ۖ وَإِن تَكُ حَسَنَةً يُضَاعِفْهَا﴾ ()
and (see) Sahih al-Bukhari, Kitab al-Tawhid, Hadith: 7439."
Imam Bukhari rahimahullah has established the chapter heading from this narration and has indicated towards it with the presented narration.
