´It was narrated from ‘Ali bin Abu Talib that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:` “Do not delay the funeral once it is ready.”

´Ali bin Abi Talib narrated that:` The Messenger of Allah said to him: "O Ali! Three are not to be delayed: Salat when it is due, the funeral when it is presented, and (marriage) for the single woman when someone compatible is found."

Commentary: Note: (In the chain of narration, Sa'id bin Abdullah al-Juhani is weak in hadith, but from other evidences, the meaning of the hadith is correct.)

Commentary: Note: (In the chain of narration, Sa‘id bin ‘Abdullah al-Juhani is weak in hadith, and he did not meet ‘Amr bin ‘Ali, as the author himself has explicitly stated in the Book of Funerals, however, the meaning of the hadith is correct.)
