Commentary:
(1)
The meaning of "two actions being presented" is that when a situation arises where one must choose between two actions, the choice made by Ammar radi Allahu anhu would be correct. This is a special divine enablement (tawfiq) from Allah Ta'ala, which is the result of following the Noble Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam. However, on this basis, he cannot be declared infallible from error, because this is a quality unique only to the Prophet.
(2)
From this and other similar ahadith, it has been deduced that during the disagreement between Ali and Muawiyah radi Allahu anhuma, the stance of Ali radi Allahu anhu was more correct, because during the battle, Ammar radi Allahu anhu supported Ali radi Allahu anhu.

The authenticity of this narration has also been explicitly affirmed by some researchers.
