´It was narrated from ‘Ali that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:` “Whoever washes a deceased person, shrouds him, embalms him, carries him and offers the funeral prayer for him, and does not disclose what he has seen, he will emerge from his sins as on the day his mother bore him.”

Benefit:
This narration is not authentic.
However, from other evidences it is clear that concealing inappropriate matters known about the deceased is a meritorious act.
The Prophet (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) said:
Whoever gives ablution (ghusl) to a Muslim and conceals his faults, Allah the Exalted will forgive him forty times. (Al-Mustadrak lil-Hakim, Al-Jana'iz: 1/362)
Its chain of narration is authentic.
Allamah al-Albani rahimahullah has also declared it authentic.
