. بَابُ : مَا جَاءَ فِي صَلاَةِ النَّافِلَةِ حَيْثُ تُصَلَّى الْمَكْتُوبَةُ
Chapter: Offering a voluntary Prayer in the same place as one has offered an obligatory Prayer
Hadith 1428
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى ، حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ ، عَنْ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ عَطَاءٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ الْمُغِيرَةِ بْنِ شُعْبَةَ ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " لَا يُصَلِّي الْإِمَامُ فِي مُقَامِهِ الَّذِي صَلَّى فِيهِ الْمَكْتُوبَةَ ، حَتَّى يَتَنَحَّى عَنْهُ " .
´It was narrated from Al-Mughirah bin Shu’bah that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:` “The Imam should not pray in the place where he offered the obligatory prayer, until he moves aside.” Another chain from Mughirah, from the Prophet (ﷺ) with similar wording.
