´It was narrated from ‘Abdullah bin ‘Amr that the Prophet (ﷺ) said:` “When Sulaiman bin Dawud finished building Baitil-Maqdis, he asked Allah for three things: judgment that was in harmony with His judgment, a dominion that no one after him would have, and that no one should come to this mosque, intending only to pray there, but he would emerge free of sin as the day his mother bore him.” The Prophet (ﷺ) said: “Two prayers were granted, and I hope that the third was also granted.”

Benefits and Issues:
➊
The meaning of “according to Allah’s decision” is that they are granted the ability to make correct judgments and are protected from ijtihadi (scholarly) errors.
➋
The acceptance of the first two requests is mentioned in the Qur’an.
Allah says:
“We gave him wisdom and decisive speech.”
And He also says:
“He said: My Lord, forgive me and grant me a kingdom such as will not belong to anyone after me. Indeed, You are the Bestower. So We subjected to him the wind, blowing gently by his command wherever he wished, and the devils—every builder and diver, and others bound together in chains.”

This hadith mentions the virtue of visiting Bayt al-Maqdis (Jerusalem) and performing prayer there.

694. Commentary: The first two requests were granted, and this is also mentioned in the hadith. The acceptance of the third request is not mentioned in the hadith in the same manner as the first two; however, the Messenger of Allah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam did say regarding it that «فنحن نرجوا أن یکون اللہ عزوجل قد أعطاہ إیاہ» [مسند احمد : 176/2]
“We hope that Allah, the Mighty and Majestic, has also granted this to him (Sulaiman alayhis salam).” Therefore, its acceptance is also understood. And Allah knows best. As for the House of Allah (Baytullah), it is mentioned in the ahadith that whoever performs its Hajj becomes completely purified from sins, just as the day his mother gave birth to him.
