Commentary:
(1)
In this, there is praise for the recitation style of Abdullah ibn Mas'ud (radi Allahu anhu), that he would recite with utmost correctness of the letters.
By "fresh recitation" is meant reciting without alteration.

(2)
Just as it is necessary to understand and act upon the Noble Qur'an, likewise, it is also necessary and commendable to recite it correctly and in an excellent manner.
From this, the importance of the science of tajwid (correct pronunciation) and qira'at (recitation) becomes clear.

(3)
To inform a Muslim brother of something that brings him happiness is among the most beloved deeds to Allah, just as Abu Bakr and Umar (radi Allahu anhuma) gave glad tidings to Abdullah ibn Mas'ud (radi Allahu anhu) that the Messenger of Allah (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) approved of his recitation and encouraged reciting in accordance with it.
