. بَابُ : مَا جَاءَ فِيمَا يُرْجَى أَنْ يَكْفِيَ مِنْ قِيَامِ اللَّيْلِ
Chapter: What was narrated about what it is hoped will suffice for the night Prayer
Hadith 1369
حَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ ، حَدَّثَنَا جَرِيرٌ ، عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ ، عَنْ أَبِي مَسْعُودٍ ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " مَنْ قَرَأَ الْآيَتَيْنِ مِنْ آخِرِ سُورَةِ الْبَقَرَةِ فِي لَيْلَةٍ كَفَتَاهُ " .
´It was narrated from Abu Mas’ud that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:` “Whoever recites the last two Verses of Surat Al-Baqarah at night, that will be sufficient for him.”
