Benefits and Issues:

The mentioned narration has been declared weak in its chain by our esteemed researcher.
However, the issue itself is correct,
as is mentioned in the previous hadith.
And that narration, too, is considered hasan by our Shaykh.

The meaning of two Eids being combined in one day
is that the day of Eid falls on a Friday,
because Friday is the weekly Eid for Muslims,
and Eid al-Fitr or Eid al-Adha is the annual Eid.

Those who live in encampments outside the city
should come to the city for the Eid prayer.
Similarly, the Friday prayer (Jumu‘ah) should also be performed in a settlement.

If Eid falls on a Friday, then the obligation of Jumu‘ah is lifted from those people.
They may perform the Zuhr prayer at their place of residence.

The people of the city and settlements should attend the Friday prayer on the day of Eid.
