Hadith 1299

It was narrated from Ibn ‘Umar that he used to go out to the ‘Eid prayers via one route, and return via another, and he said that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) used to do that.

This act is recommended (mustahabb), as it is narrated in Sahih Bukhari from Jabir bin Abdullah radi Allahu anhu, who states that when it was the day of Eid, the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam would change his route (when coming and going).
