. بَابُ : مَا جَاءَ فِي قَتْلِ الْحَيَّةِ وَالْعَقْرَبِ فِي الصَّلاَةِ
Chapter: What was narrated concerning killing snakes and scorpions during the Prayer
Hadith 1247
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى ، حَدَّثَنَا الْهَيْثَمُ بْنُ جَمِيلٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا مِنْدَلٌ ، عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي رَافِعٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ ، أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " قَتَلَ عَقْرَبًا وَهُوَ فِي الصَّلَاةِ " .
It was narrated from Ibn Abu Rafi’, from his father, from his grandfather, that the Prophet (ﷺ) killed a scorpion while he was praying.
