Chapter: What was narrated concerning the Prayer of a sick person
Hadith 1223
حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ طَهْمَانَ ، عَنْ حُسَيْنٍ الْمُعَلِّمِ ، عَنِ ابْنِ بُرَيْدَةَ ، عَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ ، قَالَ : كَانَ بِيَ النَّاصُورُ ، فَسَأَلْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنِ الصَّلَاةِ ، فَقَالَ : " صَلِّ قَائِمًا ، فَإِنْ لَمْ تَسْتَطِعْ فَقَاعِدًا ، فَإِنْ لَمْ تَسْتَطِعْ فَعَلَى جَنْبٍ " .
´It was narrated that ‘Imran bin Husain said:` “I suffered from Nasur* and I asked the Prophet (ﷺ) about prayer. He said: ‘Perform prayer standing; if you cannot, then sitting; and if you cannot then while lying on your side.’”
