´It was narrated that Rafi’ bin Khadij said:` “We came to the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) with Banu ‘Abdul-Ashhal, and he led us in praying the Maghrib in our mosque. Then he said: ‘Pray these two Rak’ah in your houses.’”

Benefits and Issues:

A leader or a great scholar should tour the area under his authority so that he can become directly acquainted with the conditions of the people.

When a great scholar arrives at the mosque, the imam of the mosque should give him the opportunity to lead the prayer.
➌
It is preferable to offer the Sunnah (supererogatory) prayers at home. However, some ahadith indicate that it is also permissible to offer them in the mosque.
