. بَابُ : مَا جَاءَ فِيمَا يَقْرَأُ فِي الرَّكْعَتَيْنِ قَبْلَ الْفَجْرِ
Chapter: What was narrated concerning what is to be recited in the two Rak’ah before Fajr
Hadith 1149
حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ سِنَانٍ ، وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُبَادَةَ ، الْوَاسِطِيَّانِ قَالَا : حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أَحْمَدَ ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاق ، عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ ، عَنْ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، قَالَ : رَمَقْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ شَهْرًا فَكَانَ " يَقْرَأُ فِي الرَّكْعَتَيْنِ قَبْلَ الْفَجْرِ : قُلْ يَا أَيُّهَا الْكَافِرُونَ وَ قُلْ هُوَ اللَّهُ أَحَدٌ " .
´It was narrated that Ibn ‘Umar said:` “I watched the Prophet (ﷺ) for a month, and in the two Rak’ah before Fajr he used to recite: “Say: O you disbelievers!” [Al-Kafirun (109)] and “Say: Allah is One.” [Al- Ikhlas (112)]
