Hadith 8

مَا جَلَسَ قَوْمٌ مَجْلِسًا لَمْ يَذْكُرُوا اللَٰهَ فِيهِ، وَلَمْ يُصَلُّوا عَلَى نَبِيِّهِمْ، إِلَّا كَانَ عَلَيْهِمْ تِرَةً، فَإِنْ شَاءَ عَذَّبَهُمْ وَإِنْ شَاءَ غَفَرَ لَهُمْ
“A people who sit in a gathering and do not remember Allah there, nor do they send blessings upon their Prophet, then that gathering will be a cause of loss for them. Then if Allah wills, He may punish them, and if He wills, He may forgive them.” [ضعيف، سنن ترمذي:3380] «و الحديث حسن دون قوله: ” فَإِنْ شَاءَ عَذَّبَهُمْ وَإِنْ شَاءَ غَفَرَله» [انظر الحديث السابق 11]
