Hadith 1
اُردوEn
فَاذْكُرُونِي أَذْكُرْكُمْ وَاشْكُرُوا لِي وَلَا تَكْفُرُونِ [ سورة البقرة:152]
“So remember Me; I will remember you. Be grateful to Me and do not be ungrateful.” [سورة البقرة:152]
يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا اذْكُرُوا اللهَ ذِكْرًا كَثِيرًا [ سورة الأحزاب:41]
"O believers! Remember Allah abundantly." [سورة الأحزاب:41]
وَالذّٰاكِرِينَ اللّٰهَ كَثِيرًا وَالذّٰاكِرَاتِ أَعَدَّ اللهُ لَهُم مَّغْفِرَةً وَأَجْرًا عَظِيمًا [ سورة الأحزاب:35]
"And the men who remember Allah abundantly and the women who remember Allah abundantly, Allah has prepared for them forgiveness and a great reward." [سورة الأحزاب:35]
وَاذْكُر رَّبَّكَ فِي نَفْسِكَ تَضَرُّعًا وَخِيفَةً وَدُونَ الْجَهْرِ مِنَ الْقَوْلِ بِالْغُدُوِّ وَالْآصَالِ وَلَا تَكُن مِّنَ الْغَافِلِينَ [ سورة الأعراف:205]
"O human! Remember your Lord in your heart with humility and fear, and with a low voice rather than a loud one, morning and evening, and do not be among the heedless." [سورة الأعراف:205]
مَثَلُ الَّذِي يَذْكُرُ رَبَّهُ وَالَّذِي لاَ يَذْكُرُ رَبَّهُ، مَثَلُ الحَيِّ وَالمَيِّتِ
The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "The example of the one who remembers his Lord and the one who does not remember his Lord is like the living and the dead." [صحیح بخاری:6407]
And in Muslim, the wording is:
«مَثَلُ الْبَيْتِ الَّذِي يُذْكَرُ اللهُ فِيهِ، وَالْبَيْتِ الَّذِي لَا يُذْكَرُ اللهُ فِيهِ، مَثَلُ الْحَيِّ وَالْمَيِّتِ»
"The example of the house in which Allah is remembered and the house in which Allah is not remembered is like the living and the dead." [صحیح مسلم:779]
And in Muslim, the wording is:
«مَثَلُ الْبَيْتِ الَّذِي يُذْكَرُ اللهُ فِيهِ، وَالْبَيْتِ الَّذِي لَا يُذْكَرُ اللهُ فِيهِ، مَثَلُ الْحَيِّ وَالْمَيِّتِ»
