وعن زياد السهمي قال : " نهى رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم أن تسترضع الحمقى " أخرجه أبو داود وهو مرسل وليست لزياد صحبة.
Narrated Ziyad as-Sahmi: Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) forbade that a stupid woman may be asked to suckle an infant. [Abu Dawud reported it. It is Mursal (missing link after the Tabi'i) and Ziyad is not a Sahabi].

««إسناده ضعيف، ومرسل» Narrated by Abu Dawud in al-Marasil, Hadith: 207, and he added: "For the evil eye is real." In its chain is Hisham ibn Isma'il al-Makki, who is unknown (majhool).
Explanation:
Hadith Narrator:
«زیاد سہمی» In Taqrib al-Tahdhib it is stated that he is a person of the third rank and is unknown (majhool).
He narrates a mursal hadith.
And it has been said that he is the freed slave of ‘Amr ibn al-‘As radi Allahu anhu.
The author of Usd al-Ghabah (Ibn al-Athir) and the author of al-Isti‘ab (Ibn ‘Abd al-Barr) did not mention him among the Companions.
