Hadith 889

وعن علي رضي الله عنه قال : لا يكون المهر أقل من عشرة دراهم . أخرجه الدارقطني موقوفا ،‏‏‏‏ وفي سنده مقال.

Narrated 'Ali (RA): The dowry should not be less than ten Dirhams. [ad-Daraqutni reported it as Mawquf (saying of a Companion, i.e. 'Ali). Also, its chain of narrators is questionable].
