وعن أبي هريرة قال : قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم : « لا ينكح الزاني المجلود إلا مثله ». رواه أحمد وأبو داود ، ورجاله ثقات.
Narrated Abu Hurairah (RA): Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said: "A man guilty of fornication, who has been flogged (for it), should not marry any but a woman like him (similarly guilty)." [Reported by Ahmad and Abu Dawud, and its narrators are reliable (thiqah)].

Takhrij:
«أخرجه أبوداود، النكاح، باب في قوله تعالي: (الزاني لا ينكح إلا زانية)، حديث:2052، وأحمد:2 /324.»©Explanation:
It is stated in *Subul al-Salam* that this hadith is evidence that it is forbidden (haram) for a woman to marry a man who is a fornicator (zani).
And for the fornicator, the description of being flogged (majlood) is predominant.
Similarly, it is forbidden for a man to marry a woman who is a fornicatress (zaniyah).
And this hadith is in accordance with the statement of Allah the Exalted: ﴿ وَحُرِّمَ ذٰلِکَ عَلَی الْمُؤْمِنِیْنَ﴾ (al-Nur 24:3) “And that has been made unlawful for the believers.”
After this, Allamah San‘ani mentioned the scholarly disagreement on this issue and ultimately considered the opinion of the prohibition of marriage with a fornicator or fornicatress to be the stronger view.
