وعن جابر رضي الله عنه عن النبي صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم قال : « إذا استهل المولود ورث ». رواه أبو داود وصححه ابن حبان.
Narrated Jabir (RA): The Prophet (ﷺ) said: "When a new born cries (at the time of birth) (and then dies), it is treated as a hair." [Reported by Abu Dawud and graded as Sahih (authentic) by Ibn Hibban].

«أخرجه أبوداود، الفرائض، باب في المولود يستهل ثم يموت، حديث:2920، وابن حبان (الإحسان):7 /609، حديث:6000.* ابن إسحاق عنعن وله شواهد ضعيفة.»©Explanation:
Our esteemed researcher has declared the mentioned narration to be weak in its chain of transmission (isnad), whereas other scholars have deemed it authentic, and their opinion appears to be correct. Therefore, despite the mentioned narration being weak in its chain, due to other supporting evidences and corroborating narrations, it is acceptable for practice and as proof.
