Hadith 806

وعن أسامة بن زيد رضي الله عنه أن النبي صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم قال:« لا يرث المسلم الكافر ، ولا يرث الكافر المسلم». متفق عليه.
Narrated Usamah bin Zaid (RA): The Prophet (ﷺ) said: "A Muslim does not inherit from an infidel and an infidel does not inherit from a Muslim." [Agreed upon].

Takhrij:
«أخرجه البخاري، الفرائض، باب لا يرث المسلم الكافر، حديث:6764، ومسلم، الفرائض، باب لا يرث المسلم الكافر.....، حديث:1614.»©Explanation:
No Muslim can inherit from his deceased non-Muslim relative, and likewise, no non-Muslim can be considered an heir to his Muslim relative.
This is the opinion of the majority of scholars, and this is also correct.
And Allah knows best.
