Hadith 803

وعن عبد الرحمن بن عثمان التيمي رضي الله عنه : أن النبي صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم نهى عن لقطة الحاج. رواه مسلم.
Narrated 'Abdur-Rahman bin 'Uthman at-Taimi (RA): The Prophet (ﷺ) prohibited taking what a pilgrim has dropped (lost). [Reported by Muslim].

«حضرت عبدالرحمن بن عثمان رضی اللہ عنہ » Abdur Rahman bin Uthman bin Ubaydullah Taymi Qurashi.
He is the son of the brother of Talhah bin Ubaydullah.
He was honored with the companionship (of the Prophet).
There is also an opinion that he lived during the time of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam but did not have the honor of seeing him.
He accepted Islam on the day of Hudaybiyyah.
And according to another opinion, he entered the fold of Islam at the time of the conquest of Makkah.
He was martyred in 73 AH along with Abdullah bin Zubair radi Allahu anhuma.
