Hadith 472

Buraidah bin Al-Husaib al-Aslami (RAA) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: “I had forbidden you to visit graves, but now you may visit them.” Related by Muslim. At-Tirmidhi added the following, “It will remind you of the Here-after." Ibn Majah added on the authority of Bin Mas’ud, “And they make you (i.e. the graves) renounce this worldly life.”
