«أخرجه مسلم، اللباس، باب النهي عن لبس الرجل الثوب المعصفر، حديث:2077.»©Explanation:
Some scholars have also explained its meaning as follows: "Did your mother make you wear this?"—that is, this color is typically worn by women, so did your mother make you wear it?
Most likely, the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said this as a warning and rebuke.
In Sahih Muslim, it is narrated that Abdullah bin Amr radi Allahu anhuma said: "O Messenger of Allah! Should I wash it?" So he sallallahu alayhi wa sallam replied: "No, burn it and turn it to ashes."
