وعن طارق بن شهاب رضي الله عنه أن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم قال : « الجمعة حق واجب على كل مسلم في جماعة إلا أربعة : مملوك وامرأة وصبي ومريض». رواه أبو داود وقال : لم يسمع طارق من النبي صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم ، وأخرجه الحاكم من رواية طارق المذكور عن أبي موسى.
Narrated Tariq bin Shihab (RA): Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said: "The Friday prayer in congregation is an obligatory duty upon every Muslim, with the exception of four: a slave, a woman, a child and a sick person." [Reported by Abu Dawud, who said that Tariq did not hear (any Hadith) from the Prophet (ﷺ)]. al-Hakim also reported it from the narration of the aforementioned Tariq, who narrated from Abu Musa.

«أخرجه أبوداود، الصلاة، باب الجمعة للمملوك والمرأة، حديث:1067، والحاكم:1 /288 وصححه.* طارق بن شهاب صحابي، ومراسيل الصحابة مقبولة علي الراجح.»©
Explanation:
This hadith proves that Friday prayer (Jumu‘ah) is not obligatory upon slaves, women, children, and the sick.
If they do perform it, then they do not have to offer the Zuhr (noon) prayer; otherwise, they will perform the Zuhr prayer.
© Hadith Narrator:
«حضرت طارق بن شہاب رضی اللہ عنہ » He was a resident of Kufa.
He belonged to the tribe of Bajilah, thus he was called both Kufi and Bajali.
He is also attributed as Ahmasi.
He saw the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, but did not hear anything from him.
He participated in 33 or 34 military expeditions during the caliphates of Abu Bakr and Umar radi Allahu anhuma.
He passed away in 82 AH.

1067. Commentary:
➊ In Al-Mustadrak al-Hakim, this hadith is narrated by Tariq bin Shihab through Abu Musa radi Allahu anhu. Hafiz Ibn Hajar rahimahullah has stated that several hadith scholars have declared it authentic. See: [نيل الأوطار : 258/3]
➋ This hadith is absolute and general, and it indicates that performing Jumu‘ah (Friday prayer) is obligatory even in villages and similar places. Furthermore, there is no authentic evidence in the Qur’an or hadith which shows that performing Jumu‘ah in villages is not permissible. The statement of those who claim otherwise is rejected, contrary to the Qur’an, and against the practice of the noble Companions radi Allahu anhum ajma‘in.
➌ The generality of the Noble Qur’an also supports this. Allah the Exalted says: «يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا إِذَا نُودِيَ لِلصَّلَاةِ مِن يَوْمِ الْجُمُعَةِ فَاسْعَوْا إِلَىٰ ذِكْرِ اللَّـهِ وَذَرُوا الْبَيْعَ» [الجمعة : 9]
In response to a question, Umar al-Faruq radi Allahu anhu wrote «جمعوا حيث كنتم»: “Wherever you are, perform Jumu‘ah.” [مصنف ابن أبى شيبة، حديث : 5068]
