Hadith 368

Narrated as-Sa'ib bin Yazid (RA) that Mu'awiyah (RA) told him, "If you offer the Friday prayer, do not connect it with another prayer, till you talk or go out. Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) had commanded us accordingly: That we should not connect a prayer to another prayer till we talk or go out (in between them)." [Reported by Muslim]

883.»©Explanation:
➊ This hadith proves that after the Friday prayer (Jumu‘ah), one should not stand and offer the Sunnah prayers immediately at the same place. This ruling is not exclusive to Jumu‘ah alone, but rather, for every prayer, there should be a distinction between the obligatory (fard) and voluntary (nafl) prayers, either by changing one's place or by engaging in some conversation, so that the nafl does not resemble the fard.
➋ The Prophet (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) generally used to perform voluntary (nafl) and Sunnah prayers at home, and this is also preferable.
➌ One wisdom behind not performing voluntary and obligatory prayers at the same place could be that praying at different locations will be recorded in the book of deeds, and the reward will also be greater.
