«أخرجه البخاري، الأذان، باب المرأة وحدها تكون صفًّا، حديث:727، ومسلم، المساجد، باب جواز الجماعة في النافلة، حديث:658.»©Explanation:
➊ This hadith also establishes that it is permissible to perform voluntary (nafl) prayers in congregation. Furthermore, it is understood from this that if a woman is alone, she will stand alone in the row; she will not stand with men or children. The rows should be arranged with men first, then children, and finally women at the end. However, if there is only one man, he should stand with the child to form a single row.
➋ From the perspective of attaining goodness and blessings, it is permissible to perform voluntary prayers at home under the leadership of a pious person.
➌ Umm Sulaym radi Allahu anha, the narrator of the hadith, was the mother of Anas radi Allahu anhu. She had presented Anas radi Allahu anhu for the service of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam.
➍ It is clearly understood from this hadith that a woman cannot stand in the same row to perform prayer even with her own child.
