«أخرجه مسلم، الصلاة، باب بسوية الصفوف، حديث:440.»©Explanation:
The difference between the rows of men and women in the congregation encompasses many aspects of goodness and benefit.

Those who participate in the first row are generally those who arrived at the mosque earlier. Arriving at the mosque early is also a source of reward; moreover, those included in the first row are usually people of knowledge, elders, and those with greater religious understanding.

Those who participate in the last row of men are deprived of these virtues, and thus there is a decrease in reward, because both good and bad are relative matters.

The last row of women is better because those women will have arrived at the mosque later. Secondly, they will be farther from the men, because the mingling of men and women does not yield good results or outcomes.

This ruling applies to situations where the rows of men and women are one behind the other; otherwise, if women are in a separate area, then their first row will also be considered better. Or, if there is a situation where women have a separate congregation and a woman is leading them (standing in the middle of the first row), then in such a case, the first row of women will also be deserving of the greatest reward, and the last row will have less reward.
