Explanation:
➊ There are other statements of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam regarding the virtue of Ayat al-Kursi that are transmitted in the books of hadith. The likely reason for its great virtue is that it clearly and distinctly expresses the oneness (tawhid) of Allah. It mentions Allah’s unity, His power, His knowledge of what has happened and what will happen, and His protection of the universe, etc. These are very beloved to Allah. And Surah al-Ikhlas carries the reward equal to one-third of the Qur’an, because fundamentally there are three core beliefs: tawhid (oneness of Allah), risalah (prophethood), and akhirah (the Hereafter). This surah is filled with tawhid. And in it, Allah’s oneness and His absolute self-sufficiency (samadiyyah) are mentioned; therefore, this surah is also extremely beloved to Allah. Thus, whoever recites them regularly after the obligatory prayer will, upon death, be admitted to Paradise, insha’Allah.
➋ From this hadith, it is understood that death is a reality that no one in the world has ever denied. Also, the existence of Paradise is established from this, and it is also known that Paradise is a created thing, that is, created by Allah.
