Narrated Mu'adh bin Jabal (RA) Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) told me, "O Mu'adh, I will give you some advice - Never leave the recitation of this supplication after every prayer: 'O Allah, help me to remember You, thank You, and worship You perfectly.'" [Ahmad, Abu Dawud and an-Nasa'i reported it through a strong chain of narrators].

Takhrij:
«أخرجه أبوداود، اصلاة، باب في الاستغفار، حديث:1522، والنسائي، السهو، حديث:1303، وأحمد:5 /245.»©Explanation:
➊ «لَا تَدَعَنَّ» indicates that neglecting and abandoning this supplication after the obligatory prayer is not appropriate, because the original prohibition implies impermissibility.
➋ In addition to this supplication, many other supplications are authentically reported from the Prophet (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) in the books of hadith, such as Muslim, Abu Dawud, Nasa’i, Ahmad, and Tirmidhi, etc.
As much as possible, one should strive to recite as many of them as one can, so that the Sunnah is practiced and also propagated and spread.

Benefits: In some narrations, instead of «اللَّهُمَّ», the wording «رَبِ» is found. «والله اعلم»
❀ Sayyiduna Uqbah bin Amir radi Allahu anhu narrates that the Messenger of Allah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam commanded me to recite the two surahs of seeking refuge (al-Mu'awwidhatayn, «قل اعوذ برب الفلق اور قل اعوذ برب الناس») after every prayer. [سنن ابي داؤد: 1523 و اسناده حسن]
From the aforementioned ahadith, the importance and virtue of the remembrances (adhkar) after the prayer become clear. Therefore, we should memorize all the “prescribed remembrances” (masnun adhkar) after the prayer and act upon them, which, gradually, common Muslims are forgetting. As soon as the imam says the salam, people neglect the adhkar and become absorbed in their own occupations or head home. And there are some people who neither remember the “prescribed remembrances” proven from authentic ahadith nor pay attention to them, but they are very enthusiastic about repeating fabricated forms of remembrance «أعاذنا الله منهم». Remember, only those deeds are accepted by Allah which are proven from the Qur’an and Sunnah.

1522. Commentary:
➊ How lofty is the rank of Mu'adh radi Allahu anhu, that the Messenger of Allah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam swears an oath and says, "I love you." Radi Allahu anhu wa ardah. Thus, we also say the same: By Allah! We love Mu'adh radi Allahu anhu and all the noble Companions—radi Allahu anhum ajma'in.
➋ The ability to perform righteous deeds is granted only by Allah the Exalted. Therefore, one should make the aforementioned supplication a regular practice and routine.
➌ In some narrations, it is explicitly mentioned that when Mu'adh radi Allahu anhu narrated this hadith to his student Sanabihi, he took his hand and, swearing by Allah, said, "I love you," and then narrated this hadith—just as the Messenger of Allah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam had sworn an oath. Similarly, Sanabihi rahimahullah also took the hand of his student, swore an oath, and said, "I love you," and then narrated this hadith to his student.
