Hadith 1349

وعن ابن عمر رضي الله عنهما قال : كان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم يقول : « اللهم إني أعوذ بك من زوال نعمتك وتحول عافيتك وفجأة نقمتك وجميع سخطك ». أخرجه مسلم.
Ibn 'Umar (RAA) narrated, ‘The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) used to supplicate saying, “O Allah! I seek refuge in you from the withholding of your favor, the decline of the good health you have given, the suddenness of your vengeance and from all forms of your wrath.” Related by Muslim.

The blessings granted by Allah are generally lost due to the consequences of one's own sins; therefore, seeking refuge from the loss of blessings is, in reality, seeking refuge from evil deeds.
