Hadith 1296
وعن أبي هريرة رضي الله عنه قال : قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم : « المستبان ما قالا فعلى الباديء ما لم يعتد المظلوم » . أخرجه مسلم.
Abu Hurairah (RAA) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: “When two men insult one another, what they say is mainly the fault of the one who began it, so long as the one who is oppressed does not transgress.” Related by Muslim.
