Ibn 'Abbas (RAA) narrated, 'Raisins used to be soaked for the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) in a water skin, and he would drink it that day, the next day and the following day. When it was the evening of the third day, he would drink it and give some to others. If anything was left from it, he would spill it.' Related by Muslim.

2004.»©Explanation:
➊ This hadith proves that the Messenger of Allah (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) used to use nabidh, but when there was a fear of it becoming intoxicating, he would discard it; he would neither use it himself nor give it as a gift to anyone else.
➋ The mentioned hadith absolutely does not mean that the use of nabidh is permissible in every way for three days; rather, the purpose is that its use is permissible before it becomes intoxicating, but not after—even if, due to the season, it becomes intoxicating on the very next day.
