بَابُ: {قُلْ أَيُّ شَيْءٍ أَكْبَرُ شَهَادَةً قُلِ اللَّهُ} :
Chapter. The Statement of Allah: “Say (O Muhammad (p.b.u.h.)): ‘What thing is the most great in witness?’ Say: ‘Allah…’ ” (V.6:19)
Hadith 7417
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ يُوسُفَ ، أَخْبَرَنَا مَالِكٌ ، عَنْ أَبِي حَازِمٍ ، عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ ، قَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لِرَجُلٍ : " أَمَعَكَ مِنَ الْقُرْآنِ شَيْءٌ ؟ ، قَالَ : نَعَمْ سُورَةُ كَذَا وَسُورَةُ كَذَا لِسُوَرٍ سَمَّاهَا " .
Narrated Sahl bin Sa`d: The Prophet said to a man, "Have you got anything of the Qur'an?" The man said, "Yes, such-andsuch Sura, and such-and-such Sura," naming the Suras.
قُلِ اللَّهُ فَسَمَّى اللَّهُ تَعَالَى نَفْسَهُ شَيْئًا ، وَسَمَّى النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ الْقُرْآنَ شَيْئًا وَهُوَ صِفَةٌ مِنْ صِفَاتِ اللَّهِ ، وَقَالَ كُلُّ شَيْءٍ هَالِكٌ إِلَّا وَجْهَهُ .
So Allah the Exalted has described His Essence as «شىء». Similarly, the Prophet (ﷺ) called the Qur'an «شىء». While the Qur'an is also one of the attributes of Allah, and Allah the Exalted has said «كل شىء هالك إلا وجهه»: "Everything will perish except His Essence."
Hadith 7417
قُلِ اللَّهُ فَسَمَّى اللَّهُ تَعَالَى نَفْسَهُ شَيْئًا ، وَسَمَّى النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ الْقُرْآنَ شَيْئًا وَهُوَ صِفَةٌ مِنْ صِفَاتِ اللَّهِ ، وَقَالَ كُلُّ شَيْءٍ هَالِكٌ إِلَّا وَجْهَهُ .
