The Book of Obliging The Apostates and The Repentance of Those Who Refuse The Truth Obstinately, and To Fight Against Such People
بَابُ إِثْمِ مَنْ أَشْرَكَ بِاللَّهِ وَعُقُوبَتِهِ فِي الدُّنْيَا وَالآخِرَةِ:
(1) Chapter. The sin of the person who ascribes partners in worship to Allah, and his punishment in this world and in the Hereafter.
2بَابُ حُكْمِ الْمُرْتَدِّ وَالْمُرْتَدَّةِ:
(2) Chapter. The legal regulation concerning AI-Murtad and Al-Murtaddah [male and female who reverts from Islam (apostates)].
3بَابُ قَتْلِ مَنْ أَبَى قَبُولَ الْفَرَائِضِ وَمَا نُسِبُوا إِلَى الرِّدَّةِ:
(3) Chapter. Killing those who refuse to fulfil the duties enjoined by Allah, and considering them as apostates.
4بَابُ إِذَا عَرَّضَ الذِّمِّيُّ وَغَيْرُهُ بِسَبِّ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَلَمْ يُصَرِّحْ نَحْوَ قَوْلِهِ السَّامُ عَلَيْكَ:
(4) Chapter. If a Dhimmi or somebody else abuses the Prophet by playing upon words but not frankly, e.g., by saying, "As-Samu Alaika."
5بَابٌ:
(5) Chapter.
6بَابُ قَتْلِ الْخَوَارِجِ وَالْمُلْحِدِينَ بَعْدَ إِقَامَةِ الْحُجَّةِ عَلَيْهِمْ:
(6) Chapter. Killing Al-Khawarij (some people who dissented from the religion and disagreed with the rest of Muslims), and Al-Mullhidun (heretical) after the establishment of firm proof against them.
7بَابُ مَنْ تَرَكَ قِتَالَ الْخَوَارِجِ لِلتَّأَلُّفِ، وَأَنْ لاَ يَنْفِرَ النَّاسُ عَنْهُ:
(7) Chapter. Whoever gave up fighting against Al-Khawarij in order to create intimacy and so that people might not take an aversion to him.
8بَابُ قَوْلِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «لاَ تَقُومُ السَّاعَةُ حَتَّى يَقْتَتِلَ فِئَتَانِ دَعْوَتُهُمَا وَاحِدَةٌ»:
(8) Chapter. The Statement of Prophet “The Hour will not be established till two (huge) groups fight against each other, their claim being one and the same.”
9بَابُ مَا جَاءَ فِي الْمُتَأَوِّلِينَ:
(9) Chapter. Who is said about Al-Mutaawwalun (those who from wrong opinions about their Muslim brothers).
