Narrated Abu Sa`id Al-Khudri: That the Prophet said, "No Caliph is appointed but has two groups of advisors: One group advises him to do good and urges him to adopt it, and the other group advises him to do bad and urges him to adopt it; and the protected is the one whom Allah protects."
Allah, the Exalted, said (in Surah Hud) «لا عاصم اليوم من امز الله», the meaning of «عاصم» is "one who prevents." Mujahid said regarding what is mentioned in Surah Ya-Sin «وجعلنا من بين ايديهم سدا», meaning "We have placed a barrier before them from accepting the truth, so they wander blindly in their error (pit)." And the word «دساها» in Surah ash-Shams means "He led astray."
