بَابُ الْغِنَى غِنَى النَّفْسِ:
Chapter. True riches is self-contentment.
Hadith 6446
حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ يُونُسَ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو حَصِينٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " لَيْسَ الْغِنَى عَنْ كَثْرَةِ الْعَرَضِ ، وَلَكِنَّ الْغِنَى غِنَى النَّفْسِ " .
Narrated Abu Huraira: The Prophet said, "Riches does not mean, having a great amount of property, but riches is selfcontentment."
وَقَوْلُ اللَّهِ تَعَالَى : أَيَحْسَبُونَ أَنَّمَا نُمِدُّهُمْ بِهِ مِنْ مَالٍ وَبَنِينَ سورة المؤمنون آية 55 ، إِلَى قَوْلِهِ تَعَالَى : مِنْ دُونِ ذَلِكَ هُمْ لَهَا عَامِلُونَ سورة المؤمنون آية 63 ، قَالَ ابْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ : لَمْ يَعْمَلُوهَا لَا بُدَّ مِنْ أَنْ يَعْمَلُوهَا.
And Allah the Exalted said (in Surah Al-Mu’minun) «أيحسبون أنما نمدهم به من مال وبنين» "Do they think that by the wealth and children with which We aid them..." up to the end of the verse «من دون ذلك هم لها عاملون». Sufyan bin ‘Uyaynah said that by «هم لها عاملون» it is meant that they have not yet done those deeds, but surely they will do them.
Hadith 6446
وَقَوْلُ اللَّهِ تَعَالَى : أَيَحْسَبُونَ أَنَّمَا نُمِدُّهُمْ بِهِ مِنْ مَالٍ وَبَنِينَ سورة المؤمنون آية 55 ، إِلَى قَوْلِهِ تَعَالَى : مِنْ دُونِ ذَلِكَ هُمْ لَهَا عَامِلُونَ سورة المؤمنون آية 63 ، قَالَ ابْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ : لَمْ يَعْمَلُوهَا لَا بُدَّ مِنْ أَنْ يَعْمَلُوهَا.
